In the middle of the night, our shelter phone rang. One of our members was on the phone and she was saying that she found a cat on the street but the cat’s bowel was out and bleeding. We told our member to take the cat to our vet. There was no time to waste because it seems the cat has internal bleeding.

 

We also immediately took off to the vet. Once we reached the vet, the cat was already taken for surgery. The operation took 3 hours and our vet informed us that the cat was raped by a human. The vet had to cut some of the cat’s bowels in order to save her life from internal bleeding but she has a very slim chance to live because her internal organs were badly damaged.

 

The poor cat fought for her life for 3 more hours and then she died
